2.2 As a general principle, we process personal data in order to facilitate or improve the Sandart offerings and services to you.

2.3 We do not process personal data on behalf of third parties, nor do we sell personal data to, or share personal data with, third parties for their own, independent use.

2.4 When you use our online shop service online or off-line, we will process transaction-related personal data, such as your first and last name, mailing and shipping address, phone number and email address. We will also process information about your purchases with us.

2.5 We will use such personal data to process and deliver your order, to provide notification of order status, and to update your profile periodically to ensure that we have the most accurate personal data available. We will also use said personal data to analyse customer behaviour and to customize our Sandart communication with you, if applicable. If you opt-in (or upon request), we will send you Sandart promotional and marketing emails.

2.8 Credit card information is directed to an approved and certified service provider, and will not be stored by us.

2.9 Sandart may need to change its data processing policy from time to time to keep up with the ways in which we collect, use, transfer, store and/or delete personal data. If policy changes are made, which would materially and adversely affect the privacy of individuals to whom this policy applies, we will endeavour to give notice of such changes to all individuals concerned.

3.0 This site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use this site. 3. PAYMENT INFORMATION

3.1 Currency – All prices quoted on www.sandart.co.za are South African Rand.

3.2 The following payment options are available: Credit Card and EFT payment using PayFast.

3.3 Sandart does not store any credit card details. All transactions are handled by PayFast. You make payment and are then redirected back to www.sandart.co.za

3.4 PayFast implement the following Security & Fraud Prevention measures: a) PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliant b) Extended Validation SSL with 2048-bit encryption. c) All sensitive info is encrypted within PayFast database. d) PayFast run penetration testing on their system on a weekly basis to look for vulnerabilities. e) 3D Secure is in place for all credit card transactions. f) Two-factor authentication. g) GEO IP tracking. h) Checks for suspicious payment velocity. i) BIN/IIN validation. j) Payments and card details are automatically being checked against large online databases of blacklisted details.
